Paul has spent his entire professional life working in the field of tax, and heads up the firms technical tax department dealing with all aspects of taxation including company re-organisations, management buy-outs, share option schemes as well as advising on complex technical matters. Paul has gained an enviable reputation for being able to 'think outside the box' in his approach to solving clients tax related problems that often lead to novel and effective solutions. When not working Paul spends most of his time trying to teach his two boxer dogs new tricks and trying to get fit.

Allison Walker

Allison joined taylorcocks in 1999 and qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser a year later. She has since built up over ten years’ experience within the firm’s technical tax department dealing with all aspects of taxation and providing clients with bespoke solutions to their particular tax issues. In her spare time, Allison is a keen runner and a dedicated member of the taylorcocks netball team. She is also a lifelong Pompey fan.

Vicky graduated from Portsmouth University in 2004 and spent a year working for HM Revenue and Customs before joining taylorcocks in 2005. Vicky qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser in 2008 and in her spare time enjoys travelling, swimming and socialising.

Laura joined taylorcocks in 2010 after passing her CTA in November 2007. Her interests are travelling, sports including netball, running, various gym classes and trekking, socialising with friends, eating out and (obviously) shopping.

Penny specialises in private client services to individuals, trustees and executors advising on tax planning and related issues. With thirty years experience Penny is a regular contributor to professional journals and BBC Online. Penny lives in Surrey and her interests include golf, travel, theatre, music and, more recently, cricket.

Starting his VAT career in 1990 in the then City Office of HM Customs and Excise, Brad became a member of the VAT Land and Property Specialist Team. Brad was involved in small transactions up to multi-faceted complex property transaction deals with the VAT exceeding £25 million. Brad has since worked with some of the UK’s largest tax advisory firms providing UK VAT advice and co-ordinating and resolving multi-jurisdiction VAT issues to many different clients and intermediaries in the UK and beyond.
